The Richard J. Fox School of Business and Management is the business school of Temple University. Located in Philadelphia, the Fox School offers several Master of Business Administration programs (full-time MBA, part-time MBA, international MBA, executive MBA and online MBA); several other master's degree programs; and several Ph.D. programs, including in accountancy, finance, marketing, international business, entrepreneurship, management of information systems, risk management and insurance, strategic management, and tourism/sports. The school has some 6,500 students, 155 full-time faculty, and over 42,000 graduates, of which about two-thirds live and work in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. It is the largest business school in the Philadelphia region and one of the largest in the world. Established in 1918, it was named in honor of Richard J. Fox in 1999.[1] The MBA program began in 1942. The school has been accredited by the International Association for Management Education (now the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)) since 1973. The PhD in Economics program was established in 1976.

Advance your research skills and deepen your knowledge in earth and environmental science with the Master of Science in Environmental Geoscience in the College of Science and Technology at Temple University. In this 30-credit graduate degree program, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the biological, chemical and physical processes that form the environment.

Designed for students with a foundation in science, a core objective of this master’s degree program is to investigate Earth’s systems, its inhabitants and their interactions to develop strategies for a sustainable and prosperous society through a combination of coursework and original research. Graduates of the program will have fundamental knowledge in earth science, skill conducting scientific investigation and experience in scientific writing and communication.

As a graduate student in the Master of Science in Environmental Geoscience, you will learn how to address societal challenges to the world at large, such as climate change, the food-energy-water nexus and intense land use. Like environmental scientists working in the field, you will develop the skills and master the methods used to communicate these challenges, including

Please note all graduate candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and should have the US equivalent of a minimum of overall 3.0 GPA.

 

Official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate schools attended in both English and the original language. All translations much be completed by the issuing institution or an American Translators Association certified translator.

 

In lieu of submitting official transcripts, international applicants can also submit a course by course evaluation from a NACES accredited evaluation agency. Visit https://www.naces.org/members for more information.

Unofficial transcripts can be submitted for the purposes of application review. If admitted, you will be required to submit official copies of all transcripts and degree/graduation certificates prior to matriculation OR a NACES accredited evaluation. For applicants educated in China or India, please note the specific requirements below. The Fox School of Business has a rolling admissions process. Fox Graduate Admissions Committee reviews for decision at application completion (form submission and receipt of required documents).

The following deadline schedule ensures candidates are considered in a timely manner for scholarship awarding and visa processing.

All programs offer a fall intake. Spring and summer terms are limited to MBA and certain MS programs.
