INDIAN UNIVERSITY SERVICES

Offering the best in student recruitment

TYPES OF SERVICES OFFERED

The Indian educational system has been undergoing a paradigm shift in the recent past. India has the world’s second-largest post-secondary student population of around 30 million. With over 800 universities and university-level institutions and 48,000 colleges, India still has a gross enrollment ratio (GER) of only 20 per hundred accessing higher education. India is far behind the developed countries' average of 45 per hundred. The Government of India has set a GER target of 30 per cent by 2020 and for that to be achieved, the number of universities and colleges will have to be increased while enhancing the quality of existing institutions.

At Indo Global studies, we understand the need for Indian institutions to forge international partnerships and work together in an ever increasingly globalized world and economy. We offer our services to institutions that are seeking active international partners.

TWINNING AND TRANSFER PROGRAMS

This is an innovative platform that international institutions use for a targeted recruiting strategy that allows for a specialized program to be created between a foreign and domestic institution. Foreign institutions are always seeking Indian partners who would be willing to offer twinning partnerships. The program will allow for students to transfer credits (for up to two years) predetermined by both parties to the foreign institution and graduate with a foreign degree.

FACULTY AND STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

These programs allow for faculty and students from partnering institutions to learn from each other during visits to each others' campuses. The faculty exchange programs would provide participants with the opportunity to teach or conduct research for one semester or an academic year at an overseas university. Faculty members would benefit from exposure to a culturally varied and diverse faculty make-up, with an opportunity to exchange ideas and observe a variety of styles.

ACADEMIC COLLABORATIONS

Allows for foreign institutions to offer their curriculum at a domestic institution. Academic collaboration programs between the Foreign universities and Indian institutions and organizations are aimed at meeting the rapidly growing Indian educational needs by leveraging mutual capabilities.

SUMMER PROGRAMS

A popular program that allows for domestic students to visit foreign institutions for a short period over the summer break. These programs are both academic and extracurricular in nature. Indian students who participate in such programs get to interact with other foreign students and learn from each other in a diverse environment giving them a global outlook.

CERTIFICATION AND ONLINE PROGRAMS

A newer venture, this allows for students in the domestic institution to take online classes from the foreign institution and gain a valuable certificate for completed credits (both at the graduate and undergraduate levels). Certificate programs include corporate training programs, executive development programs, and management development programs.

RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS

Allows for faculty members from both partnering institutions to collaborate on research projects in an overlapping field. International Collaboration has also become a key element in globalization strategy. Research Collaboration supports research, training and knowledge transfer in everything from architecture to zoology.

DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS

With course mapping, both Indian and foreign institutions agree to accept a predetermined number of academic credits to allow students to secure two degrees simultaneously. Collaborative degree and diploma programs which are technical in nature may require the approval of statutory bodies such as the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
