Missouri State University is a public university in Springfield, Missouri. Founded in 1905. It is the state's second largest university by enrollment, with an enrollment of 23,418 in the fall semester of 2023.

The Master of Science in Information Technology is a 30 credit-hour program. Students typically complete the program in two years when taking two courses in each of the fall and spring semester and one course in the summer semester of each year. A maximum of two graduate-level courses (6 credit hours) taken at an approved post-secondary institution before acceptance into the program may be applied toward the degree if approved by the Program Director.

Academic Requirements
You must have completed a U.S. bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution, with a 2.75 (U.S. scale) grade point average for the last 60 credit hours. Please refer to the Graduate Catalog for admission requirements for each individual graduate program. 

Proof of English Proficiency
Proof of your proficiency in English is required if your primary language is not English. Persons who have completed one or more years of university level study in the U.S. may be exempt at the discretion of the International Services Office. Proof can be provided in two ways: TOEFL-iBT – 79; IELTS – 6.0; Duolingo 110

International applicants must provide proof of necessary financial resources. You will need these documents to complete your visa application and immigration process.
