Direct Entry Requirements

- Required for all applicants. Please have the student email the completed form to CSULB's International Recruitment Office at [email protected]

- Transcripts
 

All Previous Secondary Schools - Minimum GPA - 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)

STEM and nursing majors need at least 3 years of high school math and Math grades B or better (4 years of math recommended)

- TOEFL (61), IELTS (5.5, no sub-score below 5.5), PTE (43) or Duolingo (95) - Official Scores Only

- Duolingo is accepted but the score cannot be entered on the official Cal State application. Please submit the application and then release an official score to CSULB.

- ACT/SAT Optional

- Copy of Passport

- Portfolio or Audition (Program-Specific)

Application Deadlines: Fall – April 1 (documents due April 15), Spring - October 1 (Documents due October 15)
