The University of Findlay is a private Christian university in Findlay, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God General Conference and the city of Findlay.

About the Program​​

 

The Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences Program was designed as a way for nuclear medicine technologists to elevate their training and certifications in just two years. 

 

The program features further training in the fields of: ​

  • Computed Tomography (CT)  

  • Magnetic Resonance (MR) ​

Course Information

​Coursework is completed entirely online. The program is 44 credit hours which is comprised of ten core courses and two elective courses. Other than the clinical training hours, all coursework takes place online, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule. Learn more about the coursework and requirements below.

Graduate Students

  • If you have completed your studies in or are a citizen of the following countries: United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Ghana (if bachelor's degree is from a Ghanaian ​university) ​and New Zealand you do not need to provide an English language test score.
  • ​​Prospective graduate students are exempted from IELP/TOEFL/PTE scores provided that they can authenticate their CEFR level at a C1 equivalent level or above. If you attended an English-speaking university, you may also not have to provide language test scores. Contact international​@findlay.edu with questions, or complete the application and upload your academic credentials to be evaluated for exemption.​ ​

English Test Score Requirements for Non Exempted Graduate Students

 

The minim​um English language score requirements vary by graduate program, but the overall minumum is listed below. For a detailed chart of English language requirements by graduate program, visit this page.

 

  • TOEFL Minimum Score: 79​
  • IELTS Minimum Score: 6.5
  • PTE Academic Minimum Score: 61
  • Duolingo Minimum Score: 105

 

​If your English language test score is below the minimum score, you can be conditionally accepted to the University of Findlay and enroll in the IELP program so you can work to improve your scores. Once you have improved your scores, you can begin classes in your course of study at Findlay.

 

 

*An English Medium School uses English as the language of instruction and follows the American or British curriculum. For those schools, the Cambridge or Edexcel is used, and the schools would most often receive a CERF or Cambridge exam score.


** An English Version School uses English as the language of instruction but follows its own national curriculum and English national exam system.  ​

 

The University does not accept new English language test scores from an already admitted student less than two weeks before the start of classes.

The University of Findlay has rolling admission, so there are no defined application deadlines.  However, in order to ensure the appropriate amount of time for the University to review your application, process your I-20, and leave enough time for visa interviews and travel arrangements, we do ask that you apply as early as possible.
