Curriculum

The Master of Science in Civil Engineering program at The Catholic University of America offers both thesis and coursework-only options. The program aims to produce graduates well-versed in fundamental and advanced engineering principles. Students can specialize in areas such as construction engineering and management, environmental engineering and water resource management, solid mechanics, structural engineering, transportation engineering, civil engineering materials, and systems engineering. The Professional Master's Program is tailored for recent graduates and practicing engineers, while the pre-doctoral program is designed for those intending to pursue a Ph.D.
