Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic Engineering

Mechatronics engineers have designed everything from medical devices to NASA’s Curiosity Rover to products like Roomba. This fast-growing field combines mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer engineering to design, develop, and maintain machines and automated systems.

Jump to the forefront of this exciting field with our project-based program—the first in the California State University system—that provides you with the skills you’ll need to succeed. You will learn to design autonomous systems such as self-driving cars, industrial automation systems, and the next generation of robots. Our program also features an industry-sponsored capstone program that provides unparalleled hands-on learning and networking opportunities.
