Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology

Earn Your Engineering Technology Degree & Gain Experience

Lakeland’s engineering technology program uses a combination of on-the-job learning through Lakland’s Cooperative Education program and theory learned in the traditional classroom to develop problem solvers, critical thinkers and effective communicators who will work with engineers, managers, technicians and other areas. There is an emphasis on the ability to make ethical decisions to support a more efficient and safer workplace.

This degree is ideal for students who have completed an approved Associate’s Degree through one of the technical colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System.

For students who are already employed and being approached by their employer to transition into new roles, Lakeland’s program equips those students to acquire the skills needed to make those transitions.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

What does it take to get in to Lakeland University? Lakeland is a test-optional institution that prides itself on taking a holistic approach when considering an applicant for admission. While students can elect whether or not their test scores play a role in the admissions process, we understand there are inherent flaws in trying to summarize your academic potential in a single exam. We seek the student who wants to learn and be a member of a community that specializes in individual attention, both academic and interpersonal.
