UCM’s Bachelor of Science in Data Science, helps you understand how to use tools to dissect data coming from a variety of sources. Our Data Science bachelor’s degree will introduce you to visualization, data mining, programming, statistics and forecasting to help you tackle large-scale data sets. As a Data Science major, you will learn to uncover patterns and employ statistical methods that help you provide data-driven insights to decision makers in your chosen field.

Online options in UCM’s Data Science BS degree program

Courses that apply toward UCM’s degrees in Data Science are primarily delivered in person, though some coursework can be completed online. Please Note: If you do not meet the minimum English proficiency score requirements, your application will be updated to indicate an English requirement. You will then be required to start with the English Language Institute upon arrival at UCM.

Transcripts

All undergraduate students are required to upload unofficial transcripts to their student portal (created upon application submission) and submit official transcripts to our office. These transcripts will be used for advisement purposes. Students must have a 2.0 high school GPA or above to be admissible. If the applicant has taken undergraduate coursework the cumulative GPA of the undergraduate coursework must be a 2.0 or higher to be admissible.

This document is required as verification that adequate funds are currently and subsequently available to you in support of your tuition and living expenses while at UCM.
