Graduates are prepared to work within a health-related setting in administrative, managerial and technical positions, as well as to attend graduate school.
The three customizable tracks for the health science degree are:
The Community Health Management track is recommended for students pursuing non-clinical pathways after graduation in settings such as nonprofit agencies, health and wellness centers, corporate health and wellness companies or government offices.
The Health and Disability track is recommended for students who intend to pursue further study in rehabilitation and recovery, develop health and wellness promotions and programming or serve in a school setting.
The Pre-Nursing track is specifically for students preparing to enter a nursing program, however, strategic selection of electives can result in additional degree options. Students who graduate with the pre-nursing track are eligible to apply for admittance to any nursing school including accelerated option programs.
For students who are eligible to follow the Pre-Occupational Therapy accelerated “Three Plus” pathway, see the Pre-Occupational Therapy “Three Plus” Pathway for further details.
