The MSF in Financial Analytics program at The University of Scranton focuses on the business analytics skills needed for financial analysis, financial research and risk management.

In this STEM-designated program, you will learn to interpret data and help organizations make decisions about revenue opportunities, risk management, capital movement and long-term goals.

Comprised of 10 courses, the curriculum for the Master of Science in Finance can be completed in just 12 months. Developed by a faculty of teachers and researchers with long-standing professional finance careers, and framed by The University of Scranton’s Jesuit values, the program will provide you with specialized knowledge of financial securities, financial markets, risk metrics, investment criteria, capital budgeting techniques, and hedging strategies.

Students must choose one of two specializations.

The Corporate Finance and Investment specialization focuses on the financial management of corporations, including investment decisions, financial analysis and capital budgeting, preparing students for roles as financial managers, consultants, advisors and controllers. The Financial Analytics specialization equips students with advanced business analytic skills to prepare for financial analyst, risk manager and financial research manager roles.

The Master of Science in Finance program at Scranton consists of 30 credit hours and costs $965 per credit hour.
