Bachelor of Management

Management emphasizes getting things done with people and teams to reach organizational goals. Management students learn important analytical, communication and influence skills to motivate others. 

Why Management is in Demand:

• The National Association of Colleges and Employers consistently ranks management majors among the highest paid business graduates at the bachelor's degree level.
• Management majors are excellent candidates for graduate school and professional studies.
• According the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of management occupations is projected to grow 8 percent from 2016 to 2026, which will result in about 807,300 new jobs. (Source: Occupational Outlook Handbook)
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, leadership and time management are valued skills in any career.

Curriculum

Students may choose a specific track or general studies of management. Management of Structure and Systems and Management of People and Teams are the tracks available with prescribed electives. Students begin to specialize in their junior year.

In order to provide a solid foundation for future success, students learn the fundamentals of business with required courses in economics, accounting, statistics, management, marketing and policy. General electives and electives within the department allow each student to customize his/her management degree.

if applicable – International applicants must submit proof of English proficiency. This proof can be met by submitting either the TOEFL, IELTS, SAT or ACT. Our minimum acceptable TOEFL is an 80ibt and the minimum acceptable IELTS is a 6.5 overall band score.
