Master of Science in Natural and Applied Science Interdisciplinary Program - STEM

This unique interdisciplinary master’s program is designed for students with interest in two disciplines, and it allows students to develop individualized degree programs that fit with their academic backgrounds, professional experiences, objectives and personal interests.

In the traditional format, the natural and applied sciences graduate program is a 32-hour program that can be completed in two years if you maintain full-time student status. Once accepted into the program, you will select a primary area of study:

• Agriculture
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Computer science
• Geography, geology and planning
• Mathematics
• Physics, astronomy and materials science

An additional 9-16 hours of course work must be taken from courses outside of your primary area of emphasis. All courses must be selected in consultation with and approved by your advisory committee, which is chaired by a faculty advisor within your primary area of study.

• Estimated Annual Tuition: $15,914
• MOGO Scholarship: $10,824 (annually)

International graduate students may also be eligible for the Traditional Fee Waiver, Graduate Assistantships (GA), and MOGO Scholarships.
